Took an amazing drive down to Calistoga (a couple towns away) for wine tasting. The views were spectacular and the road was just long and straight, I can't even begin to imagine how driving down that road in a convertible must feel like. You're literally driving through a valley with vineyards and plains just surrounding you, so so so beautiful.
Reached Sterling Vineyards which had greek inspired architecture, white buildings and all. Even a nifly cable car up to the top of the hill.
We were treated to an amazing view of the valley up there! Ridges and mountains surrounding us and endless plains and vineyards below. I do remember that it was ridiculously warm that day though!
So so lovely! How can you not love this view?!
Wasn't allowed to legally drink because I'm underage according to US standards but... meh.
The wine tasting trip consisted of about 5 different types of wine? And a tour around the premises to check out how the grapes are harvested and wine is made... etc.
The lovely couple who made this trip possible!
At their overpriced gift shop.. I think we bought a couple of bottles but that was it.
Ahhhh I just want to go back now, I think Napa Valley was really the most amazing part of my trip. Everything was so picturesque and chill, I just adore their lifestyle and how laid back everything was. Wine, friends, food. I can't wait to head back and this time I promised myself that I'd rent a snazzy yellow Camaro. With me driving of course.
Speaking of cars, they are super cheap in the US!! Ridiculously cheap. I can buy a second hand red Volkswagen Beetle for 12k!!!!!!!!! Can't even buy myself a Chery QQ with 12k in Singapore -_-
Which is why my dad prompted ignored me when I saw the car above and whined at him to buy me one too hahahahah (let's just ignore the fact that I don't even have a license shall we?)
