Whirlwind

It's a lovely rainy Saturday night and I'm home early! I finally managed to squeeze some free time to update this tiny space with what's happening and about to happen in my life before I dive headfirst into another whirlwind week ahead. So the good news which has finally been confirmed is that I'm headed to Switzerland in 2 days time!!! I've been talking about this trip with my family for a while now but it wasn't until early this week did things start to solidify - in fact, I only booked my tickets 2 days ago! So the past few days I've been trying to settle everything work related as well as booking accommodations (which was proudly booked only last night) and planning some sort of an itinerary for the trip. This is by far the most impromptu trip I have ever done and also my 5th trip this year - I'm kind of on a roll.

But to backtrack a little, we (Mr Tay & I) celebrated our faux 2 years recently and decided to head to USS! We've both been there previously on separate occasions but never together, and I haven't tried all the new rides at that time. I'm really really glad we decided to go because it's just impossible to be unhappy in USS, plus since it was a weekday, the waiting time for all the rides were really really short and we managed to ride all the roller coaster and huge rides at least twice!

 

Got flowers and the Most Ridiculous Book On Earth (YOGA KITTENS?!). Also this locker thingmabob which I'm not allowed to open till he's in Tekong. 

Admittedly I did not get him any gifts beforehand hahahaha (I'm so horrible). But I'd like to think that I made it up by buying these for us!
