Feeling pre-departure jitters... a good 3 months in advance. Yup, paranoia at it's best. It felt kind of surreal and even slightly comforting when I signed the papers and my dad put in the 10k deposit because it meant I finally had a fixed future ahead (albeit just two years). But I just received confirmation documents from the university and Australian government today and it's all starting to feel scarily real. At the end of this month, I will apply for a visa and go for the mandatory health check-ups. A month after, I will book my air tickets. 2 months after, I will start attending pre-departure talks and the such. And then it's.......... bye bye Singapore.
Planning a couple trips abroad for now, one I'm on the brink of booking and the other still pretty sketchy. But since it's not confirmed I don't want to jinx it by saying it so we'll see how things goes and cross my fingers both if not at least one would materialize. Wish me luckkkkk!
